This July 2018 plan says in part:
tourism destinations thrive on experiences – the all-important ‘reasons to visit’. Without investment or reinvestment in these experiences, the Kiama region will not achieve its potential as a destination."
The question is: "How does an abattoir in Rose Valley contribute to this aspiration or to the "Hero Experiences" from the plan - copied below?
"A set of four hero experiences have been established as part of the plan preparation process. The hero experiences define what is special about the destination – what makes it stand out from its competitors.
They reflect the reality of what visitors and communities can experience at present as well as an aspirational ‘developmental’ component."
